At Beneva Care, life is about comfort, care and belonging. We believe every resident deserves to feel at home, surrounded by warmth, kindness, and opportunities to enjoy every day. Whether it’s quiet time in a sunlit corner, a shared meal with friends, or a creative activity, we create spaces where our residents can relax, connect, and be happy.
In our four welcoming care homes, we provide exceptional residential and nursing care tailored to our residents’ needs. Each home has its own character, but our focus remains the same: to deliver heartfelt, people-first care that puts you or your loved one at the centre of everything we do.
Our homes
Our four homes are thoughtfully designed to balance comfort, community, and independence. Set in pleasant surroundings, they offer calm and peaceful environments where life can be enjoyed to the fullest.
- Comfortable communal lounges: Perfect for chatting with friends, enjoying activities, or watching television together.
- Smaller sitting areas: Cosy spaces where you can entertain loved ones privately, read a book, or catch up with friends over a cup of tea.
- Dining rooms: Our dining areas are decorated and arranged to make every mealtime feel special. Eating together is about more than just food – it’s about sharing moments and enjoying good company.
- Outdoor spaces: Our homes have well-maintained gardens where residents can enjoy fresh air, connect with nature, take gentle walks, and spend time with family and friends.

Rooms
Our private bedrooms are thoughtfully appointed with comfort in mind so our residents can feel truly at ease. While we encourage everyone to enjoy socialising in our communal spaces, each room is a retreat for privacy, rest and peace.Â
Personal touches welcome: We encourage residents to bring personal items, such as furniture, cherished photos, favourite books, or special keepsakes, to make their rooms truly feel like home.
Well-equipped: All rooms have central heating and TV points. The majority of rooms have en-suite facilities and, at minimum, hand-washing facilities.
Fully furnished: Rooms are cosy, comfortable and furnished to a high standard.
Single and double rooms: Most of our rooms are for single occupation, but we do have a limited number of companion rooms.Â
Special facilities: Some rooms feature assisted facilities, ensuring comfort, safety, and independence for residents.
Food
Good food is a pleasure we all enjoy, and at Beneva Care, mealtimes are something to look forward to every day. Our talented internal and external caterers prepare nutritious and delicious meals, catering to all tastes, dietary needs, and preferences.
Choice and variety: Residents can choose from a range of tasty options at each meal. We can also cater to special requests.
Dining together: Mealtimes are social occasions, bringing residents together to share conversation and connection.
Quality: From hearty breakfasts to comforting dinners, snacks, and refreshments in between, our food is nutritious and comforting.
Special dietary needs: Our chefs ensure everyone is well-cared for and can accommodate most special dietary requirements, including allergies, diabetes, and swallowing difficulties.
Personal Care Plans
At Beneva Care, we strongly believe in person-centred care. We recognise that everyone is unique, with their own needs, preferences, and life story, which is why we create Personal Care Plans for every resident.Â
Getting to know our residents and their families: Before a new resident joins one of our homes, we conduct a detailed pre-assessment. We spend time with them and their family to understand their medical needs, likes, dislikes, routines, and goals. Loved ones are a valued part of this journey, and we involve them to provide reassurance and clarity every step of the way.
Continuous review: As our residents’ needs evolve, so does their care plan, ensuring they are always supported in the way they need. Our team is here to listen, adapt, and make life easier so residents can feel comfortable and enjoy life.
Tailored plans: Whether it’s personal care, medical assistance, or emotional support, we create a Personal Care Plan that is tailored to each resident.
Digital care planning: Our care plans are digitised so that we can monitor and review each resident’s progress and easily share them with family members
Activities and socialising
Life at Beneva Care is full of opportunities to stay active, engaged, and connected. From creative hobbies to gentle exercise, group activities, and fun day trips, we make sure every resident has the chance to take part in things they enjoy.Â
Activities are more than just ways to pass the time; they’re about creating meaningful moments, building friendships, and helping every resident feel part of a warm and vibrant community.
Resident-led: We hold regular meetings with our residents to discuss the types of activities they are most interested in.
Special events: We organise fun day trips to local parks or theatres and delight in hosting events at our homes, like summer picnics and Christmas parties. We warmly welcome family members to these events, as intergenerational activities are so important.
Celebrating together: We love marking birthdays and other occasions with our residents and their families
A variety of activities: Our activity schedule includes arts and crafts, entertainment, live music, quizzes, games, movie afternoons and gentle exercise.
Your choice, your pace: Whether a social butterfly or more introverted, our team ensures that each resident participates in a way that feels right for them. In quiet moments, our caring staff spend time with residents on their hobbies, play games, read together and accompany residents on short walks in our gardens or the local area.Â
