Live Music & New Entertainers
August has been a fantastic month at Woodlands, filled with music, laughter, movement and plenty of opportunities for residents to come together and enjoy themselves.
We were delighted to welcome two new entertainers, Alice and Karen-Ann, to Woodlands for the first time. Both provided wonderful live music for residents to enjoy and were very well received.
We also welcomed back David Pepper for another entertaining performance, bringing familiar songs and a lively atmosphere to the home.

Gentle Seated Exercise with Ross
Our weekly sessions with Ross, our Personal Armchair Trainer, have continued throughout the month.
These fun and engaging sessions give residents the opportunity to enjoy gentle seated exercise tailored to their individual abilities, while encouraging movement, confidence and wellbeing.
Friday Breakfast Club
Friday mornings continue to be a firm favourite with our weekly Breakfast Club.
Residents come together in the dining room to enjoy a relaxed morning of television, newspapers, conversation and, of course, a choice of delicious breakfasts and drinks. It has become a lovely way to end the week and remains extremely popular.

A Summer Party in the Garden
One of the highlights of August was our Summer Party!
Residents enjoyed spending time together in the garden, with music, dancing and plenty of smiles. It was wonderful to see everyone making the most of the summer weather and enjoying the lively atmosphere.

Pub Quiz Nights with Family & Friends
Our weekly Pub Quiz Nights have also continued to bring out everyone’s competitive side!
Families are invited to join residents for a relaxed, pub-style quiz, creating a great opportunity for loved ones to spend quality time together while enjoying some friendly competition, conversation and lots of fun.
A Busy Month of Meaningful Moments
From live entertainment and dancing in the garden to exercise, quizzes and our much-loved Breakfast Club, August has certainly been a busy month at Woodlands.
Most importantly, it has been filled with opportunities for residents to have fun, stay active, socialise and enjoy meaningful time with friends, family and the Woodlands team.
