    Our Care

Choosing care for yourself or a loved one is a huge decision, and we know it comes with many questions, emotions, and uncertainties.

June Activities and Celebrations at Solent Cliffs

June was filled with celebration, creativity, sunshine, and plenty of special moments at our Fareham nursing home, Solent Cliffs. From Father’s Day entertainment and baking activities to gardening and a magical Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea, residents enjoyed a wonderful variety of experiences together.

    Celebrating Father’s Day in Style

Father’s Day was celebrated in style at Solent Cliffs. Our residents had great fun creating giant beer-themed crafts, adding a playful and creative touch to the occasion.

The celebrations continued with a fantastic afternoon of live entertainment from our much-loved regular singer, Leanne. There was plenty of singing, dancing, laughter, and smiling faces, making it a truly memorable event for residents and team members alike.

    Baking Delicious Homemade Treats

The smell of freshly baked cakes filled the home as residents rolled up their sleeves for a fun and sociable baking session.

Everyone enjoyed getting involved, whether mixing ingredients, decorating the cakes, or simply sharing stories and laughter along the way. Baking is always a popular activity at Solent Cliffs, offering residents the chance to use familiar skills, work together, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something delicious.

Of course, the best part was sitting down together afterwards to enjoy the homemade treats.

Enjoying the Garden in the Summer Sunshine

With the summer sunshine making an appearance, our garden became the perfect place to relax, socialise, and enjoy the fresh air.

June proudly showed off her gardening skills, helping to care for the flowers and plants while spending time outdoors. It is always wonderful to see residents taking pride in helping to keep our outdoor spaces looking so colourful and welcoming.

Gardening also provides a valuable opportunity to stay active, connect with nature, and enjoy a calming and rewarding activity.

An Alice in Wonderland Afternoon Tea

It was “curiouser and curiouser” at Solent Cliffs as our residents stepped into the magical world of Alice in Wonderland.

Dressed in wonderful hats and surrounded by teapots, themed decorations, and delicious refreshments, everyone enjoyed an enchanting afternoon tea in the sunshine. The garden was filled with laughter, conversation, and smiles as residents embraced the fun and whimsy of the occasion.

It was a wonderfully imaginative afternoon that created memories to be treasured for a long time.

    Creating Meaningful Moments Together

From music and crafts to baking, gardening, and themed celebrations, June offered residents many opportunities to socialise, express their creativity, stay active, and enjoy time with friends.

We look forward to creating even more magical moments and memorable experiences at Solent Cliffs in the months ahead.
