July has been full of fun, friendship, and feel-good moments at Solent Cliffs in Fareham, with residents enjoying plenty of smiles, laughter, music, and some very special visitors.
From meeting adorable animals and celebrating National Ice Cream Day to singing along with one of our favourite entertainers, there have been lots of wonderful opportunities to spend time together and create happy memories.
A Special Visit from Pony Pals
We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Pony Pals for a wonderful animal-filled visit!
Our residents loved getting up close with the friendly chickens, rabbits, and the adorable Florence the duck, who very quickly stole everyone’s hearts and became the star of the show.
There were lots of opportunities to hold, stroke, and cuddle the animals, creating some truly lovely moments. The visit brought huge smiles and plenty of laughter while also sparking wonderful conversations and treasured memories.
It was a very special experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
Celebrating National Ice Cream Day
What better way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than with our very own ice cream shop?
Our brilliant Activities Team transformed the day into a delicious summer celebration, with residents, visitors, and staff invited to choose their favourite ice cream and toppings.
With plenty of choice and lots of happy faces, it was the perfect summer treat and a lovely way to bring everyone together for an afternoon of fun.
An Afternoon of Live Music with Leanne
We were delighted to welcome back our regular singer, Leanne, for another fabulous afternoon of live music.
Favourite songs soon had everyone singing along, tapping their feet, and reminiscing about special memories connected to much-loved tunes.
The room was filled with music, smiles, and laughter, creating another wonderful afternoon enjoyed together.
Meaningful Activities and Happy Memories
Whether spending time with animals, sharing an ice cream, or enjoying favourite songs, activities like these provide valuable opportunities for residents to socialise, reminisce, and experience something a little different.
Most importantly, they bring people together and create plenty of moments filled with happiness, friendship, and laughter.
