July was a fantastic month at Beechwood House in Rowland’s Castle, filled with sunshine, laughter, and plenty of exciting activities. We made the most of the summer weather and enjoyed some wonderful experiences together, from our summer BBQ to magical entertainment and a beach-themed day.
Summer BBQ Fun in the Sunshine
We kicked off the summer spirit with a fabulous summer BBQ, raising money for our residents’ fund.
Everyone enjoyed delicious food, good company, and the opportunity to spend time together outdoors. It was a lovely occasion for residents, families, and friends to relax, socialise, and make the most of the warmer weather.
The BBQ brought plenty of smiles and laughter and was a wonderful way to celebrate summer together while supporting our residents’ fund.
Magical Entertainment from Silly Scott
We were also delighted to welcome a very special visitor – Silly Scott!
There were plenty of magical moments, surprises, and smiles as residents watched his amazing tricks and enjoyed the entertainment. It was a fun-filled experience that kept everyone guessing and asking, “How did he do that?”
Live entertainment is always a popular part of life at Beechwood House, bringing residents together for shared experiences filled with laughter and enjoyment.
Bringing the Seaside to Beechwood House
Our monthly theme day was all about Beach Vibes, bringing a taste of the seaside straight to Beechwood House.
With summer-themed activities, colourful decorations, and plenty of seaside inspiration, everyone was encouraged to embrace the holiday spirit and think about everything they love about a day at the beach.
Creativity, Conversation and Seaside Memories
Our Beach Vibes day also provided lots of opportunities to get creative, have fun, and reminisce about favourite seaside holidays and summer memories.
Whether thinking back to trips to the coast or simply imagining relaxing beside the sea, residents thoroughly enjoyed creating our own little slice of summer at Beechwood House.
