February at Beechwood House was a month filled with love, laughter, and wonderful celebrations, bringing residents, staff, and families together to create lasting memories.
Valentine’s Day celebrations
We began the month by celebrating Valentine’s Day in style, with a fun fancy-dress day that brought smiles all around the home. Residents enjoyed dressing up and sharing the joy of the occasion.
On Valentine’s Day itself, residents were treated to a beautifully prepared meal. Many of our couples were able to dine together, making the day feel even more special and meaningful.
Welcoming the Chinese New Year
Our celebrations continued as we welcomed the Chinese New Year, embracing the spirit of new beginnings. Residents enjoyed a delicious selection of traditional Chinese dishes while also learning more about the customs and traditions behind this important festival.
Shrove Tuesday fun
To round off the month, we celebrated Shrove Tuesday with a delightful afternoon of pancakes and entertainment. Residents took part in pancake tossing games, sparking plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
