What our employees say

Hear it straight from the team that Beneva Care are supportive, friendly, and focused on real impact. Colleagues grow with training, mentors, and clear progression; and they stay, because the work matters and people do too.

I am a Registered Nurse with over 16 years of experience in the healthcare sector, beginning my journey in 2008. My career started in acute renal care within the NHS, where I developed a strong clinical foundation and gained valuable insight into managing complex patient needs in high-pressure environments.

In 2018, I joined Solent Cliffs Nursing Home to broaden my knowledge in community-based care, particularly focusing on dementia and End of Life support. Since then, I’ve progressed from working as a Night Nurse to Clinical Lead, and now serve as Deputy Manager. This transition has been more than a change in setting—it has been a return to the core values that inspired me to become a nurse.

Working at Solent Cliffs has deepened my appreciation for the unseen, everyday acts of compassion that define exceptional care. From staff gently reassuring a frightened resident, to care workers intuitively knowing how to encourage and support individual needs, I’ve witnessed a true family approach in action. It’s in these quiet moments—the unspoken understanding, the patience, the personal connection—that the essence of nursing truly shines.

Being part of such a dedicated team has reignited my passion for the profession. It has reminded me that while clinical skills are vital, it’s the human touch that often makes the biggest difference.
